Axis41 Assists CMO.com in Transitioning as One of the World's First Adobe Experience Manager 6.0 Sites

SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 15, 2014 — (PRNewswire) — Axis41, a Salt Lake City-based digital marketing agency and business-level partner with Adobe, recently collaborated with CMO.com, an Adobe thought leadership website, to produce one of the world's first live Adobe Experience Manager 6.0 sites.

Axis41 and CMO.com worked together previously when Axis41 designed and implemented the AEM site in 5.4 then upgraded it to 5.5 in 2012. Upgrading to the new Adobe Experience Manager 6.0 has offered CMO.com the ability to integrate an end-to-end content publishing solution through Digital Publishing Suite and the Creative Cloud—alongside several other new features of 6.0, including the touch user interface (UI).

Editor in Chief at CMO.com, Tim Moran, had this to say about his experience with Axis41 and Adobe Experience Manager 6.0: "We were very excited to work with Axis41 again for the redesign and re-platforming of the CMO.com website. Their team of Adobe certified experts understood AEM 6.0 and were able to assist us in integrating with the DPS, leveraging AEM's built-in technologies and facilitating an author experience for our global authors. Both AEM 6.0 and Axis41 exceeded our expectations and we are very pleased to be one of the first Adobe Experience Manager 6.0 sites."

As one of the first companies to run through the beta version of AEM 6.0 previous to its release, Axis41 became familiar with the variety of 6.0's new features, such as a faster repository, a dynamic tag management system and a touch-optimized approach to authoring. The new touch UI enables device authoring, which streamlines the process with the convenience of authoring on both desktop and touch devices.

Axis41's knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager 6.0 enabled its team of Adobe certified developers to discover potential choke points where issues might arise when upgrading a CMS from Adobe Experience Manager 5.5 to 6.0. It was this experience and expertise that led to a smooth transition to AEM 6.0 for the CMO.com website and enabled CMO.com to become one of the world's first enterprise-level websites to use Adobe Experience Manager 6.0 on November 18, 2014.
