SHEFFIELD - Feb 10, 2015 - MachineWorks Ltd, leading provider of CNC simulation and verification software, has been working closely together with Goodway Machine Corporation developing advanced full machine simulation online.
Having completed a very successful integration of MachineWorks libraries, Goodway has made full machine simulation available on their FANUC controllers. It is now available on Goodway machines such as GTZ-2600, GTH-2600, GS-4000, GV-100, GV-1200, SW-32, SW-20.
Goodway signed up for MachineWorks looking to offer their customers the ability to simulate material removal in the full machine environment as well as to check for interferences.
Thanks to the new functionality delivered by MachineWorks, Goodway's customers can achieve high quality 3D animation simulating material removal without spending so much in high-specification computers.
The collision avoidance and simulation functions enhance the operating efficiency of the machine (saving preparation time) and the overall safety of the process.
MachineWorks also provides libraries for the new "SVI" software (Simulation - Verification - Interference) that runs on a PC. It provides off-line machine simulation, programme verification and interference checking before operating in the real machine. It reduces the chance of the operator making mistakes and improves production efficiency.
"We love working with MachineWorks because the different teams work together to deliver the best help and advice on customised software optimisation. MachineWorks provides prompt, professional and friendly service", says Joe Chen of Goodway Machine Corporation "there is mutual trust".
Dr Fenqiang Lin, CTO of MachineWorks Ltd says "The Goodway G.LINC350 is leading the way and has achieved some the most advanced 3D graphics in the world benefiting from MachineWorks' innovative and reliable software. Goodway is now making very efficient use of multiple core processing power thanks to the multithreaded MachineWorks' libraries".
The MachineWorks team will be also at TIMTOS 2015 in Taipei this March, supporting their Taiwanese customers.Goodway Machine Corp will be exhibiting at TIMTOS 2015 and showing new software advances on their controller at the Nangang Exhibition Hall on booth number I0816, from the 3rd to the 8th of March.
