Miner has held numerous senior management positions during his 18-year tenure with Leidos. Most recently he was the chief strategy officer for the Integrated Systems Group in the company's National Security Sector, where he provided oversight and coordination for strategic growth areas including command and control, infrastructure protection, and cybersecurity. Miner has also served as Senior Vice President for the company's Commercial Critical Infrastructure Operation; Chief Executive Officer/Chief Operating Officer/President for former-Leidos subsidiary CloudShield Technologies Inc.; and Senior Vice President for the company's IT Deployment Operation providing CIOs and customers with information technology infrastructure support. Prior to Leidos, Miner was a manager for GE Aerospace/Martin Marietta and a Consulting Regional Manager for Texas Instruments Software.

Miner holds a B.S. in both Computer Science and Mathematics from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He served in the Air Force for 10 years, and served another 14 years in the Air Force Reserves where he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. While on active duty, he earned an M.S. in Operations Research from the Air Force Institute of Technology. Miner is also a graduate of the University of Virginia Darden Business School "The Executive Program".
