September 02, 2015 -- Yotta’s software is underpinning nearly 90 per cent of Welsh Local Authorities in the management and delivery of frontline street scene services. With more than sixty individual installations of Yotta’s Mayrise Management Software, including Street Lighting, Street Works, Highways and Waste, Yotta is also leading the way in mobile and hosted solutions across Wales. Recent contracts, valued at more than £280,000, include a new installation of Mayrise Waste at Monmouthshire County Council, Mayrise Street Works Mobile for the City and County of Swansea Council and an online version of Mayrise Highways for Powys County Council. Yotta is also seeing significant interest across Wales for its visualised asset management software, Horizons.
Jason Parker, Highways Technical Manager at The City and County of Swansea Council, commented, “We have been a Yotta Mayrise customer for more than twenty five years and believe they have the correct philosophy of putting the customer high on their agenda, so selecting the Mayrise Street Works Mobile solution was easy.
“Using Mayrise Street Works Mobile will enable us to be more responsive and reactive, we hope to achieve clear financial savings, with a reduction in administration costs and an improvement in customer service, with real time responses for residents and elected councillors,” he continued.
Nick Smee, CEO of Yotta, added, “We are delighted to welcome our new customers to the Yotta Mayrise family and look forward to working with them, in partnership, for many years to come.
“We already have a strong user base in Wales with Mayrise Street Lighting currently used by more than 86 per cent of Councils, Mayrise Street Works used by more than three quarters of authorities, and Mayrise Highways used by over two thirds of Councils.
“We have also recently implemented the first installations of our visualised asset management platform, Horizons, in Wales as well as significantly expanding the number Highways and Street Works Inspectors we support, with handheld devices running mobile versions of our Mayrise back office systems complete with integrated mapping, and we are working hard to continue this period of growth.”
Other organisations in Wales to benefit from the use of Mayrise management software include the South Wales Trunk Road Agency and the North and Mid Wales Trunk Road Agency. These two organisations are responsible for the maintenance and operation of all trunk roads in Wales and both use hosted versions of Mayrise Street Lighting from Yotta.
