GUANGZHOU, China, Jan. 25, 2016 — (PRNewswire) — Recently the panda triplets from Chimelong Safari Park China, also commonly referred to as Wonders of the World, launched their AD campaign on the CNN Time Square billboard. This announcement stated that the panda triplets are about to hit the big screen by staring in an upcoming Hollywood blockbuster which will be in cinemas on January 29th.

Chimelong’s 3 Most Treasurable Pandas Set to Feature in Kungfu Panda 3

Po is going to return with his biggest adventure in Kungfu Panda 3 which will be released simultaneously in China and America on January 29th. The surprise for the audience is the three newly added characters - panda triplets are inspired by the world's only surviving panda triplets in Chimelong Safari Park.

Kungfu Panda 3, the first film that America has co-produced with China, is a collaborative work by animation technology and teams from Oriental DreamWorks and DreamWorks Animation. Its production lasted 3 years and Chinese director Huatao Teng worked as a consultant director. With all the details of scene designs to the lines, the film manages to retain the original Chinese flavor. It even included three cute pandas Mengmeng, Shuaishuai, and Kuku based on the triplets from Chimelong Safari Park.

Mengmeng, the eldest, is gentle and quiet; the younger boy, Shuaishuai, is so naughty and aggressive that he is almost a devil incarnate; the youngest panda, Kuku is kingly and cool, and also has a clear and true expression of his love and hatred. All these vivid characteristics are reflected in Kungfu Panda 3. In his efforts to train the naughty triplets into a "Panda Legion" who can fight against the big boss, Po did a lot hilarious things.

Due to its low fertility rate and survival rate the Giant Panda is one of the most precious animals in the word. The live birth rate for panda triplets is below 1%. Mengmeng, Shuaishuai and Kuku are the world's only surviving panda triplets.

The audience has shown considerable interest in the appearance in Kungfu Panda 3, as most of them have never seen a real panda before.

It is a bold move to invite the China national treasure on screen and make them international stars. When asked about this, Chimelong said, "By featuring panda triplets on the big screen as film stars, our motivation is to get more people to understand how cute and valuable the pandas are. In the meantime, it will raise awareness of animal protection and help build a friendship between humans and animals. This is not only a fairly innovative breakthrough and attempt, but also the very first step for the Chimelong Group's march into the international market."
