CGTech to Present Feed Rate Optimization Methodologies at COE

Irvine, California, Mar 28, 2016 – At the COE 2016 Annual PLM Experience and TechniFair, CGTech Technical Support Engineer Barry Kennemer will be giving a presentation that highlights which feed rate optimization techniques are best suited for different materials or machining processes. COE attendees can attend the presentation in Room 13-14, Wed, Apr 13, 2016 (01:50 PM - 02:40 PM).

“Every CAM vendor, machine tool builder, and cutting tool supplier promotes the importance of cutting optimization. But what is really meant by ‘optimization?’” asks Kennemer. “This presentation intends to decipher the many types of NC program ‘optimization’.”

In booth 204 CGTech will be exhibiting its latest version of VERICUT software. VERICUT is CNC machine simulation, verification and optimization software that enables users to eliminate the process of manually proving-out NC programs. VERICUT simulates all types of CNC machining, including drilling and trimming of composite parts, water jet, riveting, robotics, mill/turn and parallel kinematics. VERICUT runs standalone, but can also be integrated with leading CAM systems.

About CGTech
Headquartered in Irvine, California CGTech specializes in numerical control (NC/CNC) simulation, verification, optimization and analysis software technology for manufacturing. Since 1988 CGTech’s product, VERICUT® software, has become the industry standard for simulating CNC machining in order to detect errors, potential collisions or areas of inefficiency. With offices worldwide, VERICUT software is used by companies of all sizes, universities/trade schools, and government agencies.
