Enhancements Expand Aerosol Jet Capabilities for Fully Printed 3D Electronics

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — May 12, 2016 — Optomec, a leading global supplier of production grade additive manufacturing systems for 3D printed electronics, and Delcam, an Autodesk company, one of the world's leading suppliers of advanced CADCAM solutions for the manufacturing industry, have entered into a global sales partnership whereby Optomec will sell and support Delcam products in conjunction with sales of its Aerosol Jet systems for 3D printed electronics.

Beginning in 2015, the companies commenced development activities to enhance Delcam’s FeatureCAM software to support Optomec’s Aerosol Jet five-axis system for 3D printed electronics. This collaboration brings together Delcam’s industry leading additive manufacturing software expertise with Optomec’s industry leading 3D printed electronic technology to address next generation electronics manufacturing challenges.
