Washington, D.C., November 8, 2017—American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) President Gregory A. Miller, FASLA, and other new Executive Committee members were sworn into office on the final day of the ASLA 2017 Annual Meeting and EXPO in Los Angeles.
At the closing President’s Dinner on October 23, retiring leadership was acknowledged, continuing members were thanked, and new officers were installed.
Retiring after years of truly valued service are:
- Chad D. Danos, FASLA, Immediate Past President
- David M. Cutter, ASLA, Vice President of Education
- Robin Lee Gyorgyfalvy, FASLA, as Vice President of Government Affairs
- Michael Stanley, ASLA, Vice President of Communications
Continuing to contribute are:
- Vaughn B. Rinner, FASLA, as Immediate Past President
- Wendy Miller, FASLA, as Vice President of Professional Practice
- Thomas Mroz, ASLA, as Vice President of Finance
- Vanessa Warren, ASLA, as Vice President of Membership
And taking office this year are:
- Shawn T. Kelly, FASLA, as President-Elect
- Haley Blakeman, ASLA, as Vice President of Communications
- Lake Douglas, FASLA, as Vice President of Education
- Eugenia Martin, FASLA, as Vice President of Government Affairs
Following their swearing in, Gregory A. Miller, FASLA, was installed as the 73rd president of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
