AUSTIN, Texas, Nov .12, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Asset Drone, a national drone surveying, mapping and inspection service provider, will host a drone education course set in the beautiful Texas Hill Country in Georgetown, Texas, Dec. 15-16, 2018.

These classes offer drone operators the chance to learn from highly experienced, FAA-certified, fully insured drone pilots while preparing for the Part 107 certification test.

This two-day training session is broken into two parts, the FAA Part 107 exam preparation on Saturday, Dec. 15, and the hands-on commercial sUAS/drone flight training on Sunday, Dec. 16.

Asset Drone's COO, chief pilot and licensed FAA flight instructor, Marc Cohen, will provide a deep-dive into Saturday's topics that include regulations relating to small unmanned aircraft system rating privileges, limitations and flight operation, as well as airspace classification and flight restrictions affecting drone operations.

He and his team will conduct a detailed, section-by-section overview of everything pilots will see on the FAA Part 107 exam. At the end of class, Asset Drone president and CEO Jason Worley will provide insights and guidance into the business side of commercial drone work. Attendance is limited to 15 students.

On Sunday, Dec. 16, trainees are guaranteed at least three flights (weather permitting) with Asset Drone's experienced, FAA-certified drone pilots, using the student's drone equipment. Personal attention will help guide trainees through safety and preflight checks, and offer usable tips for capturing the best photos and videos for infrastructure inspections, property photos or other commercial work. Students will also have the opportunity to try some of Asset Drone's more advanced UAVs like the DJI Inspire 2 and drones using dual-controllers, allowing a dedicated camera operator. Attendance is limited to 8.

These training sessions will take place at Novak Brothers headquarters, located at 1500 Rivery Blvd., Suite 2200, Georgetown, Texas 78628.
