The Professional PLM Launch Meeting on 03 and 10 July has trans-Atlantic participation

Oxford, England. June 24 2019 -- The Professional PLM Initiative starts its Foundation Stage with a Launch Meeting split into two parts, to be held on 03 and 10 July 2019.

This will be the first ever structured discussion about forming a PLM Profession, and it already has representation from North America and Europe.  This gives it a trans-Atlantic input, and the aim is to act globally.

Both events will be hosted by Quick Release at their Headquarters in West Horndon, Essex.  The events will be run by webex so that anyone in the world can be involved, and are timed to allow most time zones to take part. The Structure Meeting will be held on 03 July from 14:00 - 17:00 [UK]. The Live Discussion will take place on 10 July between the same times.

Participation gives you the inside track as the Initiative runs through the Foundation Stage, and a leadership role in setting the direction for the future.

Registration is open until the end of Friday 28 June [PDT].  The Professional PLM web site has the Launch Meeting details, and a Datasheet and Registration Form; and specific details can be requested via Email Contact.

About the Professional PLM Initiative
The Professional PLM Initiative was launched in 2017 in response to the lack of professional recognition for PLM practitioners. Its current aim is for its Steering Group to be able to oversee the development of a recognised PLM Profession by the end of 2020.
