(April 8, 2009/Harrisburg, Pa.) GeoDecisions, an award-winning leader in the information technology industry that specializes in geospatial solutions, was recently recognized as the ESRI® 2009 Partner of the Year for the Philadelphia, Pa., region.
The award recognizes GeoDecisions for successfully implementing ESRI geographic information systems (GIS) software in applications for many public and private sector clients. ESRI executives presented the award to Anthony J. Pietropola, president of GeoDecisions, and Jonathan Pollack, senior vice president of GeoDecisions, during a special ceremony at the ESRI Worldwide Business Partner Conference in Palm Springs, Calif., on March 22, 2009.
“GeoDecisions is dedicated to providing the very best in innovative GIS technology,” Pietropola said. “Our entire team appreciates the honor of this award from our partner ESRI. It reaffirms our commitment to helping our clients realize their business goals by providing them with powerful software and excellent solutions.”
The award not only recognizes GeoDecisions’ recent contributions but also supports the continuation of a positive working relationship. In 2008, GeoDecisions was named an ESRI Foundation Partner of the Year. In 2005, GeoDecisions was named an ESRI Business Partner of the Year and in 2002 became an ESRI value-added reseller. GeoDecisions also received the ESRI New Partner of the Year in 2000, an award which honors companies that have been ESRI business partners for less than two years.
GeoDecisions’ experienced staff of professional consultants, analysts, and developers supports clients across the United States. Fundamental to the company’s award-winning approach is the integration of spatial information to empower existing systems and processes. GeoDecisions’ philosophy is based on an enterprisewide approach to the integration of diverse information technologies, data formats, and systems.
