Conference to double the number of online presentations recorded this year
Now in its 16th year, the Campus Technology conference offers the opportunity to learn about and master the cutting-edge technologies that drive student success and educational advancement both in and out of the classroom. This year's event, "Mastering Digital Worlds" will explore the tools, strategies and innovations that help campuses reach the cutting edge of 21st century education technology. The sessions recorded with Mediasite will be streamed live to the exhibit floor at the Sonic Foundry booth (#606), and will be made publicly-available for on-demand viewing after the conference.
"For several years we've been recording key conference sessions with Sonic Foundry. This is a resource I know attendees and the higher education community appreciate," said Mary Grush, editor and conference program director. "This year we've doubled the number of recordings because we realize the value of capturing these sessions as a conference archive that can be shared widely."
In addition to streaming online presentations, Mediasite customers will be speaking at breakout and poster sessions scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, notably:
-- William Havice, Ph.D., associate dean for Academic Support Services and Pamela Havice, Ph.D., associate professor, Clemson University to present Creating a Future Vision for the 21st Century Campus -- James Craig, Ed.D., professor, University of Maryland Dental School to present Student Attitudes Toward Lecture Capture -- Bob Hillhouse, associate CIO, University of Tennessee to present Web Streaming: The Essential Techniques for Reaching Your Audience -- Anne-Marie Lerner, Ph.D., professor, UW - Rock County to present Learning Through Advanced Internet Technologies
