(NASDAQ: XLNX) kicked off the North American leg of its 37-city global seminar series last week in San Jose, Calif. X-fest, a series of technical seminars offering practical, how-to training for FPGA, DSP and embedded systems designers, runs worldwide through February 2010 in locations throughout Asia, Europe, Japan and North America. To date, nearly 4,200 people have registered to attend X-fest worldwide. These one-day seminars offer several 75-minute training courses for attendees to choose from, designed to provide specialized training on design solutions for FPGA circuitry and the components surrounding FPGAs.
