April 20, 2010 -- SimActive Inc., a world-leading developer of software solutions for the generation of geospatial data, is pleased to announce that its new seamline editing module will be released at ASPRS 2010 in San Diego, California. Integrated in its patented Correlator3D™ product, the module will allow users to modify mosaic seamlines through a highly intuitive visual interface.
The new editing tool was designed to complement SimActive’s automatic module for the generation of color-balanced orthomosaics. It allows the auto-generated seamlines to be interactively adjusted according to specific user requirements with real-time visual feedback.
“We designed a highly efficient mosaic editing tool requiring less manual operations and therefore, significantly increasing overall productivity”, said Louis Simard, Chief Technology Officer of SimActive. “With this new module, Correlator3D™ is now positioned as the industry’s best end-to-end photogrammetry software.”
Designed for speed and ease of use, Correlator3D™ consists of fully automated software tools for the production of digital surface models (DSM) and digital terrain models (DTM), the creation of orthophotos and mosaics, and the detection of 3D changes. Correlator3D™ is significantly simpler and faster than currently available tools. Highly trained personnel are no longer mandatory.
