May 07, 2010 -- SuperGeo Malaysia today announced that University of Malaya procured SuperGIS Desktop, the powerful desktop GIS software developed by SuperGeo Technologies.
SuperGeo Malaysia was co-established by SuperGeo Technologies and Axis Commerce, which was originally SuperGeo’s exclusive reseller in Malaysia. In order for closer cooperation and better service-provision for the local users, the two partners have built SuperGeo Malaysia in March, 2010.
Located in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, University of Malaya is one of the top universities and also the oldest higher educational institute in Malaysia. After purchasing SuperPad, the full-function mobile GIS software, the Department Of Geography at University of Malaya again selected SuperGIS Desktop, to analyze the collected field data and output into professional maps.
SuperGeo is planning to invest more in technical support and marketing resources for SuperGeo Malaysia, aiming to penetrate into the local territory further.
