April 22, 2011 -- GeoDecisions, an award-winning leader in the information technology industry specializing in geospatial solutions, has been selected by the District Department of Transportation (DDOT), to provide a Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) console application.
The HPMS console application is designed to improve, streamline, and reduce the complexity and labor intensity of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) HPMS submittal process at DDOT. GeoDecisions will work with DDOT to develop a console application that provides documentation of user configurable application logic/settings, and install and train DDOT HPMS staff on the use of the application.
The custom HPMS console will automate the HPMS workflow, from the initial data loading to the final submittal to FHWA. Through the automated system, DDOT will be able to better manage, monitor, report, maintain, and control the HPMS data as it is prepared for and submitted to FHWA.
