Carlsbad, CA, - July 6 2011- TC Technology announces that the City of Lakeland, Florida deployed an enterprise license agreement (ELA) of GO! Sync Mobile GIS to various departments. Following a phased approach, Lakeland’s deployment targets automation of paper-based tasks and workflows including inspections, design, work management, and asset management. Lakeland is a city of approximately 100,000 located in central Florida between Tampa and Orlando, which provides a compliment of municipal services including: electric, water, sanitary sewer, fire and police protection, garbage collection, multi-purpose facilities and award winning parks for the benefit of residents of Lakeland and the adjacent areas of Polk County.

The initial deployment equips over 50 utility field crews in Lakeland Electric with GO! Sync Mapbook providing easy searching, electric network tracing, GPS, AVL, sketching, and more which helps workers respond to scheduled and unscheduled jobs.
