Bristol, UK. 2 November, 2011. – Marking a concerted drive into the European market, Solutionix, the fast-expanding developer of white-light 3D scanning systems, will feature the latest in its comprehensive range of scanners for industrial and manufacturing applications on stand number C113, Hall 8.0 at the Euromold show in Frankfurt, from 29 November to 2 December, 2011. Solutionix’ partner company, Medit-Dental, will also feature scanning systems developed specifically for the dental CAD/CAM market
Demonstrations will feature the latest high-resolution Rexcan 4 scanning system, including the new ultra-high resolution and LED projection systems. Rexcan 4 provides a maximum of 24 scanning volumes, depending on the size of the object, and is capable of +/-10 µm accuracy and the ability to capture an area up to 1.8m (diagonal) in a single shot.
Using phase-shifting optical triangulation technology and twin CCD cameras, the high-end Solutionix Rexcan 4, mainstream Rexcan 3 and desktop Rexcan DS2 3D scanning systems are designed to provide high accuracy 3D scan data collection capabilities for a wide range of reverse engineering and quality inspection applications in industrial and manufacturing markets.
Medit-Dental will also demonstrate the Identica high performance desktop cabinet scanner, which has been developed specifically for dental CAD/CAM applications. Featuring an automatic tilt/turn table and a narrow angle of triangulation, the Identica can create a single data set from its twin cameras in as little time as one minute for a single, small object such as a tooth.
Experts from Solutionix will be on hand at Euromold to discuss visitors’ reverse engineering, quality inspection and dental CAD/CAM requirements as well as the opportunities for potential Solutionix European business partners.
About Solutionix Corp.
Headquartered in Korea and founded in 2000, Solutionix Corp is a developer and manufacturer of high-performance white-light 3D scanning systems for reverse engineering and quality inspection applications in the industrial and manufacturing market sectors as well as in dental CAD/CAM applications.
The company’s Rexcan 3, Rexcan 4 and Rexcan DS2 3D scanning systems are based on phase-shifting optical triangulation technology and use twin high-resolution CCD cameras to capture high accuracy 3D scan data of physical objects measuring from a few centimetres across up to 1.8m, diagonally, in a single shot.
