March 14, 2012 -- Huntsville, Ala – Magnolia River celebrated the opening of its new Huntsville geospatial office during a recent ribbon cutting event attended by City of Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle and other leaders among the business community. Magnolia River opened the Huntsville office following the company's recent acquisition of Aeroquest Optimal, Inc. ("Optimal"), a subsidiary of Aeroquest International.

"The changes within our staff and the opening of our new office will allow us to greatly expand our geospatial service capabilities," said Kimberly Hoff, President & CEO of Magnolia River. "We can now focus more staff and resources on providing geospatial solutions, in addition to the infrastructure and GIS services we already provide."

The new Huntsville staff will primarily provide geospatial services, including aerial data acquisition (digital aerial photography, LiDAR, thermal and hyperspectral) and data production to developing base mapping final products. Magnolia River also provides services in the area of pipeline, GIS, energy, and surveying & mapping.
