Rocketick Expands, Opens U.S. Operations, names Arklin Kee VP of Business Development

August 13, 2012 --  Rocketick Inc., a pioneer in GPU-based simulation acceleration for chip verification, announced today the addition of Arklin Kee as Vice President of Business Development to its Executive Management Team. Mr. Kee joins Rocketick at its’ new Silicon Valley San Jose, California office. The expansion accelerates Rocketick’s rapidly growing business worldwide. Mr. Kee, a veteran of the semiconductor and IP industries, will spearhead both worldwide corporate technical partnerships, collaborations and lead in developing and securing major customer sales including building a Business Development and FAE support team. He reports to Uri Tal, Rocketick President and CEO.

Mr. Kee has over 25 years experience in promoting leading edge technologies to the market enabling companies to reach their revenue and product proliferation goals. Mr. Kees’ success in introducing new technologies has enabled numerous major semiconductor and design technology companies to achieve and solve their technical design challenges.

Mr. Kee started his career at Bell Telephone Laboratories in Murray Hill, NJ designing microprocessors. He was one of the early employees of SDA Systems, which became Cadence Design Systems. He later worked at MIPS Technologies designing their R6000 chipset before returning to Cadence to establish their Analog Division and held executive positions in both R&D and Business Development. Mr. Kee also pioneered other successful start-ups such as HLDS, ChipEstimate and Ponte Solutions, all of which have been acquired by leading major EDA companies. Mr. Kee holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn NY, and is a graduate of Santa Clara University's Management Development Program.
