Accounting firm to relocate to 150 Royall Street in Canton, Mass.

BOSTON – May 29, 2014 –  Margulies Perruzzi Architects (MPA), one of Boston’s most innovative architectural and interior design firms, announced today that it has been selected by accounting firm  Gray, Gray & Gray LLP to design the company’s new corporate headquarters in Canton, Mass. One of the largest accounting, tax, financial planning, and business advisory services firms in Boston, Gray, Gray & Gray will relocate to 25,000 SF of space at 150 Royall Street when the interior fit-out is complete in early July.

Having outgrown its previous space in Southwest Park in Westwood, Mass., Gray, Gray & Gray will take space in the building owned by OneBeacon Insurance Group. Margulies Perruzzi Architects designed the 280,000 SF building’s interior for OneBeacon in 2006, with amenities including an open, light-filled 350-seat atrium and interior urban park, fitness center, concierge, and full-service cafeteria with dining room. Gray, Gray & Gray’s new space within this building will feature workspace for 120 employees, a two-story atrium reception area, conference center with six meeting rooms, and a client café. Careful attention was given to design this space to reflect the culture and spirit of Gray, Gray & Gray, in addition to adding accent colors and graphic elements reinforcing their corporate branding strategy. In the spirit of sustainability, Gray, Gray & Gray made a concerted effort to recycle and repurpose as many of the existing building features and elements as possible.

Colliers International represented Gray, Gray & Gray in the transaction, and Babson Real Estate Advisors represented landlord OneBeacon Insurance Group. Erland Construction is the construction manager, and RDK Engineers is providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing consulting services.
