Take The WorkNC Challenge At IMTS

August 22, 2014 -- WorkNC, from Vero Software, will be unveiling its forthcoming release, V23, at North America’s largest manufacturing technology exhibition – IMTS, from September 8 to 13 – and inviting manufacturers to take a special challenge.

Not only will visitors to booth E-3114 at the McCormick Place complex in Chicago, see how WorkNC’s advanced algorithms provide efficient toolpaths while maximising tool life, they can also see how quickly the software creates a toolpath for their own part.

“We’re inviting visitors to bring a part for us to import into WorkNC at our booth,” says Shawn Schwartz, Sales Manager for North America. “We’ll demonstrate how the software can provide a viable solution to their manufacturing needs, allowing them to compete in a tough market while saving them money and helping their business grow.  They’ll see how easy WorkNC is to use and how its fast multi-threaded routines means they can spend more time milling and less time programming.

“Manufacturers have to be at the leading edge of efficiency to be globally competitive, so they need to optimize costs. Faster milling times and extended tool life both reduce costs, and WorkNC helps achieve that. As a full-featured CNC software ranging from toolpaths to tool holders and machine collision checking, WorkNC gives confidence that machining can be carried out unattended.

“So for visitors who mill complicated parts, and those who want to undertake more lights out and unattended machining, IMTS is the perfect venue for us to show them the options WorkNC provides.”
