AMD Professional Graphics Deliver Outstanding Detail, Speed, Responsiveness and Creativity to New Desktop and Mobile Workstations

SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- Sep 08, 2014 -- AMD (NYSE: AMD) today announced that next generation HP mobile and desktop workstations will feature the latest AMD FirePro™ professional graphics, designed for users who want to work at whole new levels of detail, speed, responsiveness and creativity. The HP Z840, Z640 and Z440 desktop workstations now include AMD FirePro™ W2100, W5100 and W7100 professional graphics. In addition, the HP ZBook 15 G2 and 17 G2 mobile workstations will feature AMD FirePro™ M5100 and M6100 mobile professional graphics.

AMD FirePro professional graphics offer outstanding OpenCL™ performance powered by the award-winning AMD Graphics Core Next (GCN) Architecture(1) for professional application capability in a wide variety of work environments such as product development, mechanical CAD (computer-aided design), and engineering as well as to artists, video editors, photographers and designers.
