Multimedia Games Brings Its Largest and Most Diverse Display of New Products to 2014 Global Gaming Expo

AUSTIN, Texas & LAS VEGAS — (BUSINESS WIRE) — September 22, 2014 — Multimedia Games Holding Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: MGAM) (“Multimedia Games” or the “Company”) will bring its largest-ever, and most diverse display of new products, including 100 unique new games and three larger-than-life new cabinet designs, to the 14th annual Global Gaming Expo (G2E®) at the Sands Expo & Convention Center (Booth #1165) in Las Vegas, Nevada, from September 30-October 2, 2014. In addition to the highly anticipated debut of the fully-integrated Platinum MPX™ and The Texan HDX™ which takes the Company’s highly differentiated video gaming content to a whole new level at G2E 2014, Multimedia Games will also host the championship round of its unique 2014 National TournEvent of Champions® which will conclude on Wednesday night (October 1) at XS Nightclub at Wynn/Encore Las Vegas with players competing for a share of $500,000 in cash prizes.

2014 National TournEvent of Champions Concludes; 2015 will Feature the Million Dollar Event

Multimedia Games’ fast-growing National TournEvent of Champions will again take center stage at G2E 2014 as the year’s nationwide search for the country’s best slot tournament player comes to a close on the evening of October 1. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the TournEvent of Champions team – led by The Money Man® – two busses crisscrossed the nation, covering 50,000 miles and visiting 103 casinos in 23 states. These stops attracted over 220,000 TournEvent players in semi-final and in-casino final events, ultimately identifying the 123 finalists who will battle at XS Nightclub at the Wynn/Encore Las Vegas Resort for a share of $500,000 in cash prizes (including a $200,000 top prize) and the title of National Champion.

The National TournEvent of Champions is powered by the Company’s award-winning TournEvent slot tournament system, deployed in over 250 casinos nationwide with over 4,000 gaming units as of June 30, 2014. Featuring overhead leaderboards and in-cabinet cameras, TournEvent ramps up the slot floor excitement, as players can see their name and face on the big screen. Platinum MPX Cabinet Now Delivering Premium Entertainment

Following recent initial placements and a strong preview showing at last year’s G2E, Platinum MPX officially debuts at G2E 2014 with a range of exciting content. The Company’s newest premium participation platform, Platinum MPX offers a completely new gaming entertainment experience thanks to a large 40-inch 1080p high definition LCD display and specifically-designed games that fully complement the capabilities of this new cabinet. Skyline Cabinet Amplifies the Mechanical Reel Experience

Multimedia Games’ new for-sale or premium participation Skyline series enhances the traditional look and feel of the Company’s Player Classic three-reel mechanical reel cabinet with a vintage-inspired bezel, completely reinventing the mechanical reel gaming experience and attracting players thanks to its powerful visuals. Standing nearly seven feet tall, the Skyline cabinet features unique game controlled lighting which completely surrounds a vertically-oriented 24-inch LCD display, supporting multiple tier progressive configurations and allowing for greater game flexibility.

Skyline will debut at G2E 2014 with four new games – Ultra Mega Meltdown™, Canary Diamonds™, Glitter Gulch Jackpots™ and Double Jackpot Gems™ – which represent the first in a series of games that will be released regularly and are specifically designed to take full advantage of the visually striking top box.
