Perforce Becomes First Commercial SCM Solution With Out-of-the-Box Integration With Puppet Labs Software

Perforce Software today announced the integration of its version management solution with IT automation leader Puppet Labs. Perforce is the only commercial version management solution that integrates with the puppetlabs-vcsrepo module out-of-the-box to support companies practicing DevOps, Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) -- software development methodologies that use automated build and test methods to keep software in a permanently releasable state.

Puppet Enterprise helps companies improve their DevOps and CD processes by automating the deployment of both infrastructure and applications.
