Bing Gordon And James Buckhouse -- Instrumental In Electronic Arts, Twitter Successes -- To Keynote 2015 Game Marketing Summit

Jonathan Anastas of Activision and Jeanette McMurtry of e4marketing Also to Speak

Also confirmed as GMS 2015 speakers are Jonathan Anastas, vice president, global brand marketing and head of digital & social media at Activision, as well as Jeanette McMurtry, principal, e4marketing, who is an expert on psychology-based marketing.  Anastas and McMurtry will join 30 other speakers constituting 14 panels on topics of unique interest to game marketers, including Social and Mobile Convergence in a Wireless World; Generation Next: Thoughts from a Young Industry Professional and everyone's favorite GMS RapidFire! A veteran of the video games industry, Bing Gordon serves as General Partner and Chief Product Officer for Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, heading up KPCB ProductWorks, a new program that brings together talent and experience to help entrepreneurs build successful products and services.  He is active on the Board of Directors of Amazon, MEVIO, N3twork, OUYA, Zazzle and Zynga.  Before joining KPCB, Gordon was a long-time executive at EA, beginning with the company's founding in 1982.  He was Chief Creative Officer for the company from 1998 to 2008 and previously headed up Marketing and Product Development.  Gordon's contributions to the industry were recognized by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011. 

James Buckhouse is Head of Story and Design for Sequoia Capital with a strong focus on strategic story. He previously led strategic story, design and product innovation teams at Twitter with a mandate to create guerrilla growth opportunities.  Prior to his tenure at Twitter, Buckhouse was an Executive Creative Director at Duarte, writing/architecting TED talks, product launches and thought leadership for YouTube, Google, HP, Facebook, Twitter among others.  Buckhouse built his story skills as a cinematographer and choreographer on films, including Antz, the Shrek and Madagascar franchises while at DreamWorks Animation.
