Nabto offers its “Internet of Things” Communication Platform on Cortus-based Systems-on-Chips

Nürnberg, Germany, 25th February 2015 –  Cortus, a technology leader in low-power, silicon-efficient, 32-bit processor IP, and Nabto, a Peer-to-Peer (p2p) software company, announce the availability of the uNabto communication platform on Cortus’ APS processor cores today.

uNabto is a low-bandwidth Web server protocol that runs on any Cortus APS core and employs an innovative approach to bypassing firewalls and providing GUI-based Internet access to a wide range of embedded applications—using only 16 KB of Flash and less than 1 kB of RAM.

uNabto running on Cortus APS cores with the Cortus Ethernet 10/100 MAC enables “Skype-like” connectivity from systems-on-chip (SoC) to browsers on mobile phones, PCs and to big data systems.
