Deadline is coming closer for the 2015 IEEE GRSS Data Fusion Contest: April 30, 2015.
The Contest aims at promoting progress on fusion and analysis methodologies for remote sensing data at extremely high spatial resolutions.
LiDAR point cloud, DSM, and visible data at resolutions of a few cm's, acquired over a urban and harbor area in Belgium, have been released to the international remote sensing community.
The Contest includes two independent competitions among open topic manuscripts. Top ranking authors will present and publish their works with these data at the 2015 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS 2015), will be awarded IEEE Certificates of Recognition, and will coauthor a paper that will be submitted to the IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing (JSTARS) and will be put under open access. Winners will also get an ASUS Transformer Book 2-in-1 tablet/laptop.
