MeetUps from the Metropolitan Area are invited to present their favorite applications
NORWALK, Conn. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — June 8, 2015 — TMC and Crossfire Media today announced the addition of the Mobile App Showcase and Reception at the DevCon5 HTML5 & Mobile App Developer Conference, July 20-22, 2015 in New York City at New York University’s Kimmel Center. The showcase will take place on Tuesday at 5:00 PM. DevCon5 will focus on using HTML5 and other development tools to create mobile apps that provide a superior user experience while appealing to large numbers of those users.

- Peter Dunkley, Technical Director, Acision graduated from The University of Edinburgh in 2000 with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science. After graduation Peter worked on a PSTN switch developing signalling stacks for SS7, ISDN and similar protocols and creating advanced routing and service applications. Since 2005 he has worked mainly with SIP first leading a team developing a PSTN gateway and then managing the development of a SIP Application Server. Peter joined Crocodile RCS in September 2010 and has made numerous contributions to the Kamailio open source SIP Router project (particularly in the areas of presence, WebSocket, MSRP, and SIP Outbound) since then. Peter is one of the authors of the MSRP over WebSocket draft (draft-pd-dispatch-msrp-websocket) and is a contributor to several open-source projects.
- Frank Greco, Director, Kaazing Corporation works closely with customers on new technology approaches that leverage the value of extending application protocols over the web. Frank has extensive experience in IT projects for over 15 years and has worked on global architecture, the new IT tech stack, cloud/mobile computing and innovative user interfaces. Frank has been named by Sun/Oracle a Java Champion for many years and chairs the NYJavaSIG (largest Java User Group in North America) and the NYHTML5 User Groups.
- Steven Meek, Chief Technology Officer, North American Power has 10 years of professional experience in the emerging web technologies including HTML5, mobile web, and scalable infrastructures. He is currently Chief Technology Officer for North American Power based in Norwalk, CT with the goal of putting a new face on energy data and systems. Before joining North American Power he was a consultant managing teams of overseas and in-house development efforts on a variety of projects including web applications, mobile applications, data mining, RIA down to simple front end websites.
