Canon U.S.A. Announces New Printer Systems in the imageRUNNER and imageRUNNER ADVANCE Lineup; Supports Integrated Solutions and Managed Document Services Capabilities

Offerings Help Provide Consistent Document-Based Processes Across Office Fleets

MELVILLE, N.Y. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — July 8, 2015 — Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, today announced two new printer models based on its robust MFP technology – the color imageRUNNER ADVANCE C350P and the black-and-white imageRUNNER 1435P for everyday printing needs. Built on the success of the usability and reliability features of the imageRUNNER and imageRUNNER ADVANCE platform, these devices carry a small footprint and can easily be integrated with Canon’s solutions* and Managed Document Services for consistency of operations throughout existing office fleets.

With a reliable, user-friendly design, both models offer a separate drum and separate toner-based print engine to help achieve high-printing efficiency and an optimum Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Each model shares consumables with the companion MFP engines to help reduce support overhead and the number of supplies needed in the office. With high-capacity toner bottles for each model and high-yield imaging drums, customers can realize outstanding uptime and a more cost-efficient operation. The new Defined & Quick Fixing (DQF) toner of the imageRUNNER 1435P helps achieve high-image quality and fast print speeds, and the Pure Quality (PQ) toner of the imageRUNNER C350P helps deliver vibrant color output, resulting in a high output quality without a high TCO.

“Canon strives to meet the needs of our customers by providing diverse solutions to help maximize their company operations,” said Junichi Yoshitake, senior vice president and general manager, Business Imaging Solutions Group, Canon U.S.A., Inc. “The ability to implement device integration seamlessly into customers’ office fleets is a testament to our business model of providing services and solutions that can be customized to meet the individual needs of various organizations and vertical markets, such as the healthcare, financial and legal industries.”

Vibrant Color Technology: imageRUNNER ADVANCE C350P

Designed for mid-sized to enterprise businesses, this system provides high-volume offices with color printing using Canon’s unique V2 Color profile. This profile can help provide an impactful look and feel with vibrant color and sharp, well-defined images for business presentations and documents.

Crisp, Black-and-white Output: imageRUNNER 1435P

As an edition to the newly launched imageRUNNER 1400 series, this monochrome desktop printer option is a good fit for small offices or departments of large enterprises that have compact space requirements and need to print high-quality letter and legal-sized documents. These include medical offices, executive suites in large corporations, or customer service operations at financial and banking institutions.

Solutions and MDS Ready

Integrating with Canon’s solutions and Managed Document Services can help businesses effectively manage their imageRUNNER and imageRUNNER ADVANCE devices, giving customers optimal fleet consistency and the ability to help increase productivity by providing cohesive and broad support for business operations. To help track, manage and streamline document-based processes, both devices support Canon’s wide array of document and workflow management solutions, including uniFLOW, which helps optimize print security and output management.
