Vabi's Apps for Revit Now Available in Autodesk Exchange Apps Store

Vabi's Apps for Autodesk Revit Help Users to integrate within Revit better decision making, monitoring and supervision into your BIM model. This provides goal alignment, decision visibility and supervisory transparency to the whole team during the design process and beyond.

They make simulation available to everyone - not just to specialists. All App data is stored within your BIM model. If you know how to use Revit, you'll quickly and easily be able to use the Vabi Apps and better integrate your design teams' work.

Delft, The Netherlands, July 28th 2015 - Vabi Software International has launched Vabi Financial Simulator, Vabi Thermal Comfort Optimizer, Vabi Spatial Requirements Assistant and Daylight Ratio Evaluator apps (and more coming soon) on the Autodesk Exchange Apps store for Autodesk Revit. The Thermal Comfort Optimizer optimizes thermal comfort, Financial Simulator enables ROI calculations, monitors design decision impacts and supervises goal achievement. The Spatial Requirements Assistant ensures that all functional building requirements are met. And the Daylight Ratio Evaluator enables automatic monitoring of the building's daylight area ratio. The Apps bring building information modeling (BIM) to a higher level by incorporating building performance calculations, providing design decision support, monitoring design iterations and supervising goal achievement within your Revit model.

The Autodesk Exchange Apps store is a portal to the Autodesk Revit software ecosystem, providing access to add-ins that allow designers to find and immediately download solutions to some of their more pressing design challenges, specifically for enabling Return on Investment (ROI) calculations, optimizing people's thermal comfort inside the building and for monitoring that all functional building requirements are met. Autodesk Exchange Apps include apps for 18 Autodesk products including AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk 3ds Max and Autodesk Maya. Customers access The Autodesk Exchange Apps store both directly on the Web and from within Autodesk products, making it a highly convenient resource.

"We warmly welcome Vabi as a participant in the Autodesk Exchange Apps store – the Thermal Comfort Optimizer, Financial Simulator, Spatial Requirements Assistant apps are great examples of the range of valuable add-ins easily available to customers from within the design and engineering products they use every day," said Jim Quanci, senior director of the Autodesk Developer Network. "These new apps from Vabi deliver our Revit customers industry leading ease of use in several areas of building simulation and we look forward to seeing more easy to use simulation apps for Revit from Vabi in the future".
