CubeWerx particpates in OGC Web Services, Phase 12

Gatineau, Canada, April 19, 2016 - Continuing its long tradition of support for the OGC and Open Standards, CubeWerx announces their participation in OGC Open Web Services (OWS) 12  http://www.opengeospatial.org/testbed12. OWS testbeds are part of OGC's Interoperability Program, a global, hands-on and collaborative prototyping program designed to rapidly develop, test and deliver proven candidate specifications into OGC's Specification Program, where they are formalized for public release. OWS 12 is the largest and most ambitious of these testbeds to date. The testbed content is organized into many technology-specific threads. CubeWerx is participating substantially in the following threads:

Linked data, Semantics and Dynamic Integration - CubeWerx will deliver a generic, spatially aware Web Object Service backed by a NoSQL database

Command Center - Our involvement in this thread includes standing up a number of servers handling WMS, WFS and GeoSynchronization in a peer-to-peer environment

Large scale analytics - We will be delivering a temporally-enabled WMTS service to provide time-based imagery to an the Arctic SDI Project, as well as standing up several auxiliary services

Field operations - CubeWerx will provide several servers to feed into the creation of geopackages for offline access to geospatial data
