Riverside Research Institute Brings Mission Planning Capabilities to GEOINT 2016

NEW YORK, May 16, 2016 – Riverside Research, a not-for-profit scientific research company primarily serving the US Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community, invites you to explore the future of mission planning at the 2016 Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Symposium underway this week at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

Located at booth 1309, Riverside Research experts are demonstrating the Collection Planning Suite (CPS), a web-based modeling and simulation environment and an automated planning tool for space-based GEOINT. Riverside Research is also showcasing its Visual Aircraft Mission Management Portal (VAMMP) which automates route planning, sensor planning, and manual planning for various airborne and space-based collection assets.

“Riverside Research develops collection planning and feasibility analysis for commercial, national, and special programs,” said Dr. Steven Omick, President and CEO of Riverside Research. “The CPS tool will provide the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) an Orchestrated Collection Planning capability spanning to all domains, while VAMMP leverages the latest technology in 3D and 4D visualization as the primary mission planner interface to the Air Force Distributed Common Ground Station Enterprise Collection Planner,” added John Ploschnitznig, Riverside Research Director of Modeling and Application Development.

Riverside Research is also promoting their first-of-its-kind remote sensing textbook: The Phenomenology of Intelligence-focused Remote Sensing. It is available for purchase at a discounted rate for all GEOINT Symposium attendees, and daily drawings are held to win a copy of the textbook. Proceeds from all textbook sales benefit the Riverside Research and United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) Ken Miller Scholarship for Advanced Remote Sensing Applications.
