LMU School of Film and Television announces Season 6 of acclaimed interview series The Hollywood Masters

Three-time Oscar winner Oliver Stone will be joined at LMU by superstars Annette Bening, Ewan McGregor, Isabelle Huppert and Andrew Garfield, along with director/writer Pedro Almodóvar, Fox Broadcasting CEO Dana Walden and producer Brian Grazer

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 8, 2016 — (PRNewswire) — Today the LMU School of Film and Television announced the return of The Hollywood Masters, the school's acclaimed interview series, hosted by Emmy Award-winning journalist Stephen Galloway.

Season 6 kicks off with Academy Award-winning writer-director-producer Oliver Stone, known for some of the most influential films of the past four decades, including Platoon, JFKBorn on the Fourth of July and his upcoming Snowden.

Stone will be followed by actor Ewan McGregor, star of Trainspotting and Moulin Rouge, and director of the upcoming American Pastoral; Andrew Garfield from The Social Network, The Amazing Spider-Man and the forthcoming Hacksaw Ridge; Dana Walden, CEO and Co-Chair of Fox Broadcasting; Oscar-nominated actress Annette Bening (American Beauty, The Kids Are All Right); Spanish writer/director Pedro Almodóvar (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!, The Skin I Live In and the upcoming Julieta);  French superstar Isabelle Huppert (The Piano Teacher and the upcoming Elle) and Brian Grazer, the Oscar-winning producer of Apollo 13 and A Beautiful Mind, who also executive produces Fox's Empire.

"The Hollywood Masters has become one of the school's most-anticipated programs and we are thrilled to see it to its sixth season," said Stephen Ujlaki, dean of the School of Film and Television. "By hearing first-hand from Hollywood's top creative talent each season, our students and alumni gain a better understanding of what it takes to succeed in the industry."

"The intimacy of the setting, with students and alumni in a small, private theater, has allowed these guests to reveal themselves as they rarely do elsewhere," said Stephen Galloway, executive features editor of The Hollywood Reporter. "That's why each of these interviews has generated media coverage around the world. As we enter our third year, I couldn't be happier with the current season's guests, who cross the spectrum of talent in the movie and TV business."

Each of the 90-minute interviews will be shown exclusively on The Hollywood Reporter website. The Hollywood Masters is open to LMU students, faculty and alumni only.

About Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television
Movie industry moguls helped establish Loyola Marymount University's (LMU) current campus on the bluffs above west Los Angeles in the 1920s.
