General Poss is the Executive Director of the Alliance for System Safety of UAS through Research Excellence (ASSURE) of the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Center of Excellence Team. ASSURE consists of 18 of the top US, Canadian and British UAS research universities with 100+ corporate members collaborating to solve the FAA's UAS research issues. General Poss works for MSU at their Stennis Space Center Campus.
