Pickering Interfaces to Showcase Switching & Simulation Modules at Automotive Testing Expo USA

Preview for Automotive Testing Expo USA 2016 – Novi, MI – Booth 11052

October 2016 - Clacton-on-See - Pickering Interfaces will be showcasing their latest PXI & LXI switching and simulation solutions and software in booth 11052 at the Automotive Testing Expo – 25 – 27 October, 2016. These products include:

2-slot USB/LXI Modular Chassis (model 60-104) – This new chassis offers a small lightweight form factor, making it ideal for portable, benchtop and space restrictive applications. It supports one or two 3U PXI modules and accepts the majority of Pickering’s PXI products. The USB compatible and LXI compliant interfaces enable the chassis to be controlled directly through standard interfaces found on most personal computers—allowing for a very cost effective route into the modular test and measurement market.

High Bandwidth Differential PXI Fault Insertion Switch (model 40-201) – This module is designed to simulate common faults on high speed two wire communication interfaces such as Ethernet, both in computer networks and now in transportation (SAE – Society of Automotive Engineering - specification AS6802). They support 4 or 8-channels of two wire serial connections and can be used for simulating faults on Ethernet AFDX, Time-Triggered Ethernet, 100BaseT and 1000BaseT interfaces.

PXI High-Density Precision Resistor Modules (model 40-297) – Designed as a simple solution for applications requiring accurate simulation of resistive sensors, this series includes 50 model configurations per platform. Each version offers users the choice of channel count, range and setting resolution. With resolution from 0.125Ω to 2Ω and channel counts from 3 to 18 and basic accuracy is 0.2% ± resolution.

All of Pickering Interfaces’ PXI switching and simulation modules can be used in any PXI chassis, can be fitted to PXI hybrid slots in a PXIe chassis and can also be used in their LXI Modular chassis’ for users preferring control via an Ethernet port.

Also highlighted in the booth will be their  eBIRST Switching System Test Tools. These tools, designed specifically for Pickering’s PXI, PCI or LXI (Ethernet) products, simplify switching system faultfinding by quickly testing the system and graphically identifying the faulty relays.

Pickering Interfaces stands behind all of their manufactured products with a standard three-year warranty and guaranteed long-term product support. Pricing and availability information is supplied on their website at www.pickeringtest.com.
