CES Announces Best of Innovation Honorees for CES 2017

Drum roll please…

NEW YORK — (BUSINESS WIRE) — November 10, 2016 — The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)TM and producer of CES®, the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies, announced the Best of Innovation Honorees for CES® 2017. The annual CES Innovation Awards honors outstanding product design and engineering across 28 product categories. The announcement came from the annual CES Unveiled New York, an exclusive industry only event featuring the latest innovations and trends and important show announcements leading up to CES.

The program recognizes two levels of recipient – Honoree and Best of Innovation. Products that receive the Best of Innovation and Honoree designation will be featured in the Innovation Awards Showcase, presented by The Henry Ford, at CES 2017, Jan. 5-8 in Las Vegas, NV.

“The honorees stand as the best of ingenuity and design in the consumer tech industry,” said Karen Chupka, Sr. VP, CES and corporate business strategy, CTA. “These outstanding products exemplify the power and promise of the global consumer tech industry to produce breakthrough products and services that improve our lives and better our world.”

Each category has a three-member judging team that evaluates the products based on their engineering, design, functionality, consumer appeal and how they compare to competitors in the marketplace. The judges include highly respected consumer tech designers, engineers and members of the media.
