Leading Manufacturing Groups to Host The MFG Meeting 2017

McLean, Va., Jan. 31, 2017 – AMT The Association For Manufacturing Technology will partner with the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA) to present The MFG Meeting 2017, March 22 – 25, at Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort, Amelia Island, Florida. The annual MFG Meeting provides the opportunity for executives from every step in the manufacturing chain to network and attend conference sessions that focus on technology, industry economics, market trends and business leadership.

Hundreds of manufacturing leaders will gather to gain a deeper understanding of the forces transforming manufacturing – from the digital factory and cyber security to economic and global market trends. Featuring an array of entrepreneurs, technologists, business experts and more, MFG speakers will give insight for the future of manufacturing and inspire attendees to lead with courage, clarity and wisdom. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with hundreds of like-minded individuals and share best practices and ideas to help their businesses thrive.

Keynote speakers include tech entrepreneur Josh Linkner, Philadelphia Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos and AMT President Douglas K. Woods. Linkner will discuss how to unleash creativity to maximize the full potential of organizations and people. Dorenbos will share his story of overcoming adversity and the power of teamwork, perseverance, and accountability to strengthen leadership style and business. Woods will present an overview of the latest competitive technologies transforming manufacturing.

Also featured will be Kirk Rogers, technology leader of GE’s Center for Additive Technology Advancement, discussing the future of additive manufacturing, and an economic outlook from John Walker of Oxford Economics.
