PCI Geomatics to Present Historical Airphoto Processing (HAP) Case Study at the Esri International User Conference

MARKHAM, Ontario, Canada - July 10, 2017: PCI Geomatics, a world-leading developer of remote sensing and photogrammetric software and systems, announced today it will be delivering a technical presentation with the City of Saint John, New Brunswick at the Esri International User Conference in San Diego, CA.

PCI Geomatics has worked with the City of Saint John to create digital information products from older air photos that were captured in 1967. The presentation will showcase how PCI software was used to create a seamless ortho mosaic as well as a digital surface model based on the scanned air photos which were stored in the City’s digital archives as individual files for over 15 years. With the digital products created using the Historical Airphoto Processing (HAP) system, the City of Saint John was able to publish the new layers to their Esri-powered web-publishing platform.
