DesignShare program expands catalog of IP to include eMemory's logic-based, NVM memory, lowering costs and speeding the development of custom silicon

SAN MATEO, Calif., Nov. 7, 2017 — (PRNewswire) —   SiFive, the first fabless provider of customized, open-source-enabled semiconductors, today announced the addition of eMemory, the IP provider of logic-based, non-volatile memory (Logic NVM), to the DesignShare economy. eMemory will make its embedded NVM silicon IP technology available for the SiFive RISC-V based Freedom platform as part of the DesignShare initiative.

The DesignShare concept opens a new range of applications and gives any company, inventor or maker the ability to harness the power of custom silicon.
