(NASDAQ: CDNS) today announced a collaboration with Google Cloud to enable electronic systems and semiconductor design with the Cadence® Cloud portfolio. The collaboration enables Google Cloud Platform customers to use the Cadence Cloud Passport model to access cloud-ready Cadence software tools for use in Google Cloud. The collaboration between Cadence and Google Cloud helps engineers to access compute resources quickly, driving improved productivity for complex chip design projects.
The announcement was made at the 55th annual Design Automation Conference (DAC) being held in San Francisco at Moscone Center West, June 25-28, 2018.
