DATAMARK Conducts NG9-1-1 Public Safety Workshops in Arizona

PHOENIX, May 07, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DATAMARK today announced a series of seven workshops in Arizona: “Don’t Run with Scissors: You are Responsible for NG9-1-1.” The workshops will take an in-depth look at the objectives and requirements of GIS in Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) for tomorrow. Discussion will go into detail about where public safety stakeholders need to start and the importance and impact of GIS on NG9-1-1.

DATAMARK will hold a series of 7 workshops in Arizona: “Don’t Run with Scissors: You are Responsible for NG9-1-1.” The workshops will take an in-depth look at the objectives and requirements of GIS in Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) for tomorrow. Discussion will go into detail about where public safety stakeholders need to start and the importance and impact of GIS on NG9-1-1.

Attendees will include 9-1-1 center and Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) personnel; regional and state 9-1-1 coordinators; MSAG coordinators; GIS managers; GIS data stewards; addressing authorities; and any other individuals who may benefit from a discussion regarding 9-1-1, GIS, and their roles in next gen 9-1-1. This set of workshops in Arizona is the first of several series that will be held across the U.S.
