The world's leading gaming engine developer has purchased the 3D immersion and visualization software that revolutionized architectural project sharing

PARIS, May 13, 2019 -- France's Abvent Group has announced that it has sold Twinmotion, a leading 3D immersion software for architects and designers, to Epic Games, the Cary, North Carolina-based creator of the hit video game Fortnite and Emmy-award winning Unreal Engine software.

With the rapid evolution of real-time visualization, Abvent made it possible for Twinmotion to rise to the top of the world's leading architectural and urban planning software solutions by developing ground-breaking exploration and 3D immersion technologies for BIM models. Epic’s global reach will give Twinmotion the universal exposure that it needs to grow further.

Given that Abvent dedicates more than 58% of its turnover to R&D, this latest commercial success confirms Abvent’s role as a technological innovator. The proceeds from the sale of Twinmotion will be redistributed to other ongoing technological projects.
