Premier annual event for professional CAD and BIM developers
Scottsdale, AZ: August 17th, 2020 – Open Design Alliance (ODA), the leading provider of solutions for CAD and BIM development, announced ODA DevCon 2020 Virtual Edition, to be held on September 8, 9 and 10. DevCon brings together developers from all sectors of the engineering software market to discuss the latest industry trends, best practices for CAD and BIM application development, and the newest ODA technologies. The conference features guest speakers from buildingSMART® International (bSI), Microsoft®, Google®, and Open Geospatial Consortium.
ODA DevCon 2020 focuses on three themes:
- BIM. Innovative BIM technologies including new support for IFC 4x3 in ODA IFC SDK, toolkits for proprietary BIM data, and updates from industry partners.
- DWG. Latest advancements in ODA’s industry-standard DWG technology, including Model Documentation and native DWG version history.
- ODA Technology Stack. ODA solutions for visualization, cloud development, publishing, and facet and solid modeling. Cloud apps that integrate BIM with IoT (Internet of Things), and a new integration for expanded MCAD format support.
The conference includes member presentations from industry leaders that showcase the use of ODA technologies in real-world applications.
