July 17, 2008 -- Toronto, ON – ESRI Canada is pleased to announce that Jim Wickson has joined ESRI Canada in the newly established position of Vice President of Sales. Mr. Wickson will provide leadership and vision to the company’s sales organization in serving the rapidly growing enterprise GIS market. He will have the responsibility of overseeing the regional offices, as well as the sales support groups including; technology strategy, proposal support, business partner management and business development.

Mr. Wickson has spent over 30 years in the Information Technology industry with the last 12 years focused on Enterprise GIS in North America and Europe. He brings with him impressive senior level experience in Services, Operations, Marketing and Sales based roles. In 1996, Mr. Wickson joined Intergraph Canada and held senior positions as the Director of Western Canada and President of Intergraph Canada. Then from 2003 to January 2008, he held positions at Intergraph Corporation as the North America Vice President and General Manager, and Senior Vice President of Canada and Europe.
