Glu and DreamWorks Animation SKG(R) Extend Relationship by Bringing Mobile Game Based on 2009 Film "Monsters vs. Aliens" to Phones Worldwide

SAN MATEO, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—September 9, 2008— Glu Mobile Inc. (Nasdaq:GLUU), a leading global publisher of mobile games, today announced an agreement with DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. (NYSE:DWA) to develop and publish the mobile game to launch in conjunction with the March 2009 film release of Monsters vs. Aliens. The film reinvents the classic 50s monster movie into an irreverent modern day action comedy.

The movie plot lends itself perfectly for a mobile game, and our production team is working closely with the DreamWorks team to bring the story and monstrously funny characters to mobile.

Todays announcement marks the second business collaboration between Glu and DreamWorks. Glu is developing and publishing the mobile game for Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, which will launch worldwide in conjunction with the films U.S. premiere on November 7, 2008.

Kiefer Sutherland will speak for General W.R. Monger and Stephen Colbert portrays the President of the United States.
