Rapid Prototyping Leader Quickparts Participating in PDx/amerimold Panel

ATLANTA, GA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Apr 14, 2010 -- Quickparts ( http://www.quickparts.com), one of North America's largest providers of custom designed parts, ranging from rapid prototyping to plastic injection molding, announced that Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Patrick Hunter, will serve as a speaker on the panel covering "Product Development with Additive Manufacturing" at the PDx/amerimold Show in Cincinnati, OH on May 11th, 2010.

The panel of industry experts will answer live questions from the audience regarding the product development challenges product designers face today. The panel will also provide insight on the best ways to utilize additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping to meet the design objectives for the new product development process. The panel discussion will enable product development engineers to ask questions about how they can best use additive manufacturing to solve the manufacturing issues they are facing today.

"Additive manufacturing has evolved over the years and there are more opportunities now than ever before for product development engineers to leverage the processes to expedite their development process. It is on the shoulders of the companies in our industry to help educate them on the opportunities out there, and the PDx/amerimold show is a great forum to discuss additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping," said Patrick Hunter, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Quickparts.
