MLC CAD Systems – Stillwater – A Local and Regional Success

Moves into New Oklahoma Office and Training Facilities

STILLWATER, Okla. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — June 2, 2010 — In May 2003 the Stillwater, Oklahoma office of MLC CAD Systems was formed. We had two employees and limped along in a temporary office space for a brief period. Fortunately we were able to move to the Meridian Technology Center within a few months.

Dr. Ron Duggins, director of Meridian Technology Center for Business Development, says, “During the time that MLC CAD Stillwater has been in the Meridian Technology Center for Business Development, they have greatly increased both their sales and training programs and have become known as a highly dependable company with which to work. It is exciting to see a company go from an idea to a thriving enterprise. Jay Clanahan and his team at MLC CAD Stillwater are to be commended for their hard work and customer service orientation that have made them an integral part of MLC CAD Systems. We are proud to have been associated with them.”

Recently we were once more in a position to expand our office and training facilities, which led to our becoming the first business to move into the recently completed Michael S. Morgan Business Accelerator building in the Oklahoma Technology and Research Park. From a modest start we have grown to become the computer-aided-design/computer-aided-manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology leader in Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas.

We provide industry-leading SolidWorks 3D Modeling CAD, Simulation, Enterprise Product Data Management, Sustainability and SolidWorks Partners software products, Mastercam CNC and Mastercam Partners software products as well as installation/start-up support, standard and custom training classes, ongoing technical support and applications engineering services to the South Central region of the U.S. Our new training facilities provide space, dedicated training computers and software for each student, comfortable facilities and room for 33% more students per class.

Dennis Hill, president of MLC CAD Systems, says, “It’s been a good ride as we have now grown to the point where we have eight ‘Okies’ on our MLC CAD Systems team. Jay, Marcus, Brian, Tandy and others have done a great job of growing the business. MLC - Stillwater is a major contributor to our success.”
