Craft Animations Offers Visualize & Reconstruct Edition Upgrade for Sample Tools Included in 2011 Versions of Autodesk 3ds Max and Softimage

Customized Real-time 3D Animation and CG Elements within Product Visualizations, Forensic Reconstructions and More; 35 Percent Discount Offered to Autodesk Users

GOTHENBURG, Sweden - June 29, 2010 - Following the integration of a select sample of Craft Director Studio (CDS) tools within the 2011 versions of Autodesk 3ds Max, Autodesk 3ds Max Design and Autodesk Softimage software; Craft Animations announces the availability of the CDS Visualize & Reconstruct Edition customized with specific CDS tools that allow design and visualization professionals to easily create fully animated product visualizations in real-time, or add CG elements directly within product visualization films, real-time presentation renders or forensic reconstructions. Users of 3ds Max and Softimage are encouraged to enhance their existing CDS tool library by upgrading to the CDS Visualize & Reconstruct Edition at a 35 percent discount until Sept. 30, 2010.

"The promotional tools included on the Autodesk 2011 Installation DVDs are simply a taste of what may be experienced through the utilization of the specialty CDS Visualize & Reconstruct Edition," explains Craft Animations Founder and CEO Deborah Lygonis. "Upgrading to these unique camera angles and vehicle motions provides a complete solution for any design, visualization or reconstruction need all in real-time, saving the time and cost of hiring an outside animation contractor."

Used by renowned companies including Armstrong White, AI2-3D and Epsilon, the CDS Visualize & Reconstruct Edition includes two specialized virtual cameras and three vehicle tools that increase interactive control and simulation, and provides the ability to enhance cinematics through a modular, configurable system that replicates a specific rig's animation. The tools' accessibility and ease of use allow anyone to literally "drive" a vehicle, or "direct" a camera within the creative environment, garnering a more realistic effect in less time. Additional CDS camera and vehicle tools are available for individual purchase.

The promotional CDS tools included on the Installation DVDs shipped with 3ds Max 2011, 3ds Max Design 2011 and Softimage 2011 software contains the Craft SoftMotionCam, Craft ObserverCam, Craft MultiStateCam, Craft HumanizerCam, as well as four Craft Pre-rigged Models.
