I was interested in the arts and sciences early. I won a writing contest for a short horror story at sixteen. I had already written a not-so-good book, my first unpublished one, about a fantasy world where the religion has screwed up all of society- not so fantastic really. After doing fairly well in High School I moved to New Orleans and attented Tulane University on a Dean's Honor Scholarship and some grants. I studied neuroscience and analytic philosophy and graduated with degrees in both and Magna Cum Laude. I got an award for best honors thesis in philosophy. I spent the summer in Europe and went skydiving in the Alps. Then I moved to Los Angeles and started a t-shirt company called "Reflect Clothing" but I got depressed after a year and went back to New Orleans where I started my career as an abstract painter. From there, I moved to Tampa and showed for a while. I continued showing in Tampa and moved to Orlando for a year to be with my new girlfriend. I painted my best pieces and sold some art for a while. Kim and I went to London, Oxford, and Amsterdam for the better part of a month and then moved to New Mexico for the grand reason that I'd always wanted to live in the desert for a while. I showed some in Santa Fe and more in Albuquerque. Kim and I got married and we had natural triplet boys unbeknownst to us until some time into the pregnancy. They are three now and I paint and write philosophy and fiction.
